How to Unlock
The mid-game certification. Complete any Crisis Job — the hazard-filled missions that introduce collapsing structures, environmental dangers and tighter time constraints.
Trigger
How to Trigger It: Accept a Crisis Job from The Hub and survive the hazards to reach the objective. Crisis Jobs require specific tool choices and awareness of environmental dangers.
Job Mechanics
Hazard Types
Crisis Jobs introduce environmental hazards that Normal Jobs do not have: collapsing scaffolds that give way under weight, rogue crane hooks that swing through your path, and water hazards that wash away unsecured materials. Each hazard has a tell — watch for the warning animation before it triggers.
Time Pressure
Unlike Normal Jobs, Crisis Jobs have an implicit time pressure: hazards escalate on a fixed cycle. The longer you take, the more hazards activate. Efficient building is not optional in Crisis mode — it is survival.
Step-by-Step Strategy
Preparation
Bring the Nail Gun for speed and the Sledgehammer for clearing hazard debris. Crisis Jobs assume you have mastered basic building — this is about execution under pressure.
The Core Approach
- Scout the hazard layout before building — know where the collapse zones are.
- Build the minimum viable path. Crisis Jobs reward speed, not beauty.
- Keep moving. Standing still in a Crisis Job is how you get caught by hazards.
- Use demo charges to clear blocked paths rather than rebuilding around them.
After the Crisis
Completing your first Crisis Job unlocks Hazard Hank (Bean-sona) and opens Master Builder mode for that job set. Crisis Job completion also counts toward the "Crisis Survivor" certification and unlocks Crisis-tier cosmetics.
Rewards
- Hazard Hank Bean-sona unlock
- Master Builder mode access
